Thëfe-fîg̈i Bî (/ˈʃëfe/ /ˈfɪg̃i/ [basement; cellar] [offer]) is a subtropical Town located in the Jĭǐkhěn District of the Federation of Alveria.
The name Thëfe-fîg̈i Bî is derived from the Iron Elvish language, as Thëfe-fîg̈i Bî was founded by Elen Fyêyèj, who was culturaly Iron Elven.
Climate
Thëfe-fîg̈i Bî has a yearly average temperature of 26°C (78°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a warm 30°C (86°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a pleasant 22°C (71°F). Thëfe-fîg̈i Bî receives an average of 223 cm/y (87 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the summer. Thëfe-fîg̈i Bî covers an area of nearly 5 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 1776 m (5826 ft) above sea level.
Overview
Thëfe-fîg̈i Bî was founded durring the late 17th century in late winter of the year 1662, by Elen Fyêyèj. The establishment of Thëfe-fîg̈i Bî was somewhat plagued by a lack of willing colonists, leading to Elen Fyêyèj electing to pay people to resettle in Thëfe-fîg̈i Bî.
Thëfe-fîg̈i Bî was built using the conventions of Iron Elven durring the late 17th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Thëfe-fîg̈i Bî is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.
Thëfe-fîg̈i Bî is buildings are arranged arround a network of premissive cobblestone streets which form a grid, where each square verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller square has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The town has a defencive wall made from querried stone. The wall is equipped with a full set of battlments but the nature of its construction methodology leaves it somewhat vulnerable to siege equipment. That said, the town is well defended against anything short of an army. The cost-cutting-focused defences have not been wellmaintained over the years, and while functional are in dire need of some loving care and perhapse light renovation.
A look around Thëfe-fîg̈i Bî has something terribly wrong with it. It’s impossible to put one’s finger on, but something is horribly wrong. Maybe it’s the way fog blankets the ground, but only in the connors of places. Maybe it’s the vermin scutteling between shadows in the corner of your eyes. Perhaps it’s the overcast sky which seemed to creep out of nowhere, or the distant howling of wolves. Maybe it’s everything together. Regardless, you do not feel it would be wise to remain in Thëfe-fîg̈i Bî long.
Civic Infrastructure
Thëfe-fîg̈i Bî has an animal control department which works to enforce local ordinances relating to the control, impoundment, and disposition of animals.

Thëfe-fîg̈i Bî has a Gravedigger's Guild, which is responsible for collecting the dead and laying them to rest according to all applicable laws and religious customs.
Thëfe-fîg̈i Bî has a Highwayman's Guild, which is tasked with maintaining the roads and highways leading into town as well as keeping them safe for travelers.
Thëfe-fîg̈i Bî has a monistary of an order of Civil Monks, who provide divine-related services to the general public and maintain Thëfe-fîg̈i Bî's public wards, blessings, and other arcane systems.
Thëfe-fîg̈i Bî possesses a Galvanic Power Grid, which brings galvanic current to most if not all buildings in town, and permits a great many consumer goods to function within the Town. Thëfe-fîg̈i Bî's grid is powered by hydrogalvanic generators.
Thëfe-fîg̈i Bî has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands.
Thëfe-fîg̈i Bî has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.
Cultural Notes
Life is hard in Thëfe-fîg̈i Bî. Its people are impoverished compared to their peers elsewhere. Something is making the locals stay, however, whether fear of the alternative, hope for a better future, or a stubborn attachment to their ancestral lands. Whatver the reason, living in this harsh area for generations has made the people of Thëfe-fîg̈i Bî a notably resourceful and hearty people.
Thëfe-fîg̈i Bî's chapel was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is characterized by grandeur of scale, simplicity of geometric forms, dramatic use of columns, and a preference for blank walls. This design ethos extended to re-imagining earlier styles of structure to create them anew, with a similar overall look and feel to one another..
In Thëfe-fîg̈i Bî the utterance of expletives is impossible within city limits. This has changed as the limits have changed, but has not kept up with slang, or swearing in foreign languages.
